BASED BOOK ARTS

is an independent creative workshop specialising in book arts and educating book making. Based in Singapore, its aim is to promote book arts and encourage people of all backgrounds to use the book as a medium to express their creativity, through workshops and collaborations.

‘Based’ - commonly used as a secondary word, similar to how a book’s form is usually seen peripheral to its content. By bringing attention to the form here, we introduce the importance of the relationship between the form and the function of a book. Without a strong base, the content cannot flourish.

We provide services for custom made books and corporate workshops too.
